Bribery can be seen in getting electricity to work at an office. Some officials issuing permits expect bribes. Customs officers expect a bribe for the recovery of a persons luggage. Officers even issue bribes. Companies may even issue a bribe in order to get their business.
Effects of Bribery on Business

It causes companies to lose their reputation. Bribery results in a big fine for the business, if prosecuted. Employees, managers, or salespeople of a business may offer money or gifts to a potential client in exchange for business. Some of the disruptions to the business when dealing with a bribery situation can cost the company.
